Custom software built around how you actually work.

When the spreadsheet has become a system and off-the-shelf software makes you bend your process to fit it, we build the tool that fits you. Web applications, client portals, booking systems, dashboards and internal tools for businesses in Gatineau, Ottawa and across Canada.

When custom software is the right call

Most businesses should not build software. Off-the-shelf tools are cheaper and faster right up until the moment they stop fitting. The signal is usually the same: a growing pile of spreadsheets, double entry between two systems, a monthly SaaS bill for features you mostly work around, or a process that only one person understands.

That is when a purpose-built tool pays for itself. We have replaced booking flows that lost customers, dashboards stitched together from exports, and manual scheduling that ate an afternoon a week. The test we apply before quoting is simple: if we can solve it with an integration or automation instead, we tell you, because that is cheaper. Custom software is for the cases where the process itself is your advantage.

What we build

Web applications your team logs into: quoting tools, job tracking, inventory, scheduling. Client portals where customers book, upload, pay and follow their file without emailing you. Booking and reservation systems with the rules your business really has, not the ones a plugin assumes. Dashboards that pull live numbers from the tools you already use. And platforms where the software is the product, like the real-estate marketing platform we built for Parsell, which serves thousands of listings a year with booking and client management built in.

Everything runs in the browser, works on a phone, and lives on infrastructure you own. Where AI genuinely helps, for example classifying requests or drafting documents, we bring in our AI solutions work rather than bolting on a chatbot for its own sake.

How we keep projects small and shippable

Software projects fail by growing. We keep them shippable by scoping a first version that solves the single most expensive problem, launching it to real users within weeks, and only then adding the next piece. You see working software early, not a specification document.

  • A written scope with what is in, what is out, and what version two might hold
  • Fixed-price phases so the budget is known before each one starts
  • Modern, boring technology chosen for longevity and for being easy for another developer to pick up
  • Automated backups, access control and audit trails from the first release
  • Documentation and a handover so you are never dependent on us

What custom software costs

A focused internal tool or portal typically starts in the same range as a full website build and grows with the number of roles, integrations and edge cases it has to handle. Platforms are larger and are always phased. We quote each phase separately, and the first phase is designed to prove value before you commit to more.

Ongoing costs are your hosting, which we set up in your name, and optional support. There is no per-seat licence and nothing that stops working if you stop paying us. Bring the problem to the project form and we will tell you honestly whether it needs software at all.

What's included

Scoping workshop

We map the process, the people and the failure points before writing a line of code.

UX and interface design

Screens designed for the people who use them every day, in your brand.

Full-stack development

Secure, tested code on a modern stack, hosted on infrastructure you own.

Integrations

Connected to your CRM, accounting, calendar, payment or email tools.

Data and reporting

Dashboards and exports so the tool answers questions, not just stores records.

Handover and support

Documentation, training and an optional support plan after launch.

How it works

  1. 01

    Scope

A workshop and a written scope that defines version one and what it must prove.

  2. 02

    Design

Clickable screens for every role, reviewed with the people who will use them.

  3. 03

    Build in phases

Working software in weeks, tested with real data before the next phase starts.

  4. 04

    Launch and iterate

Rollout, training and a plan for the next improvements based on actual usage.

Questions we get asked

Do I need custom software or an automation?

Often an automation or integration solves it for a fraction of the cost. We tell you which before quoting. Custom software is for processes that are genuinely yours.

Who owns the code?

You do. The source code, the design files and the hosting accounts are in your name from day one.

What technology do you use?

Proven, widely supported web technology chosen for reliability and for being easy for any competent developer to maintain. We avoid frameworks that lock you in.

Can you take over an existing application?

Usually. We start with an audit of the code and infrastructure, then recommend whether to extend, refactor or rebuild.

How long does a first version take?

Most first versions ship within six to twelve weeks. Larger platforms are broken into phases of similar length.

Have a process that deserves its own tool?

Describe it in the project form and we'll tell you whether it needs software, an automation, or neither.
